The Hazard!
During recent internal testing related to product aging, 3M New Zealand found a decrease in earmuff headband force over time when the P5E attachment arm is used in combination with certain head protection products, which may cause more sound than intended to leak around the seal of the earmuff.

1. Determine if your 3M™ PELTOR™ X Series P5E Hard Hat Attached Electrically Insulated Earmuffs are affected using the instructions available on 3M New Zealand's website.
2. Stop using the product immediately.
