Affected adapters have 4 or 5 characters or no characters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter (see images). Redesigned adapters have a 3-letter regional code on the inside slot (EUR, KOR, AUS, ARG or BRA).
The Hazard!
In very rare cases, certain of these adapters may break and create a risk of electrical shock if touched.
What to do...
Stop using your adapter and check it - visit the support section of Apple's website for information about how to identify the affected adapters. If you have an affected adapter:
• complete the online form and Apple will send you a replacement adapter, or
• visit an Apple Retail or Apple Authorised Service Provider to exchange your affected adapters.
