The Hazard!
Water or moisture can potentially enter the ignition module causing it to fail and also resulting in overheating which may lead to plastic casing of the ignition module catching fire.
It can also create a ‘false’ call for heating, allowing the heater to operate when in the ‘OFF’ position with no water flow, which can also potentially cause a fire.
What to do...
Stop using your spa/pool heater and disconnect it from the power supply.
Contact Fluidra to arrange for a qualified technician to repair the heater.
If you are using a Viron Connect Automation System with your heater, it will need an additional cable for the pool pump to operate. Contact Fluidra to arrange for this cable to be sent to you.
