These Bicycles have been recalled because the (‘NUTT’ branded) brakes require frequent servicing to perform optimally, and failure to service these brakes may result in a loss of braking power, which may result in a loss of control of the bicycle and cause an injury.
A failure to regularly maintain the NUTT brakes on the above models may result in insufficient braking performance, which could lead to an accident, causing serious injury.

Consumers with the recalled models should stop riding their bicycles immediately and contact Sheppard Cycles New Zealand Ltd via phone on 0800 999 499 to arrange for replacement brakes of another brand to be fitted.
