The Hazard!
The position light and flasher electrical harness in the front fenders may be loose and rub on the tire. This could lead to a short circuit causing an engine stall while driving.
If you do experience an engine stall due to a short circuit, you will maintain steering and braking but you will not be able to maintain your speed or restart the vehicle.
This may increase the risk of a crash.
What to do...
Contact your BRP Can-Am dealer to organise the safety recall repair work to be completed on your vehicle. BRP will repair your vehicle at no cost.
The repair is to secure the harness with proper routing in the front fenders. The procedure should take less than an hour.
