The Hazard!
The instrument cluster may display the gearbox position “P” even though the gearbox is not mechanically engaged in the park position.
This misleading display may result in the vehicle unexpectedly rolling away, which could lead to injury or even death.
What to do...
Contact your BRP Dealer to verify if your specific VIN is affected. If affected your Can-Am dealer will schedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired
The repair should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The dealer will perform this work at no charge to you.
