The output shaft installed on affected vehicles may be exposed to stress concentration that could cause fatigue failure, and, over time, the output shaft may break, resulting in a loss of drive power while driving.
This can increase the risk of a crash.
What to do...
The corrective actions for this recall are under development and are NOT yet available - BRP will offer the corrective actions free of charge.
BRP will send a second letter to owners to inform them of the corrective actions before January 31, 2025.
