Certain Bose EdgeMax and FreeSpace professional use loudspeakers

The Hazard!
The affected loudspeakers (see the 'List of affected loudspeakers' PDF below) mounting components can break under certain circumstances.
Affected FreeSpace DS 40F mounting anchors can break under a variety of installation and use conditions and the wider range of EdgeMax and FreeSpace mounting components can break when exposed to cooking oil.
If the mounting components break the loudspeakers can dislodge and fall, which can result in injury if someone is below.
What to do...
Stop using the affected loudspeakers (see the 'List of affected loudspeakers' PDF below) and contact Bose or your Bose reseller for instructions.
The affected FreeSpace DS 40F in-ceiling or flush-mount loudspeakers manufactured prior to 13 August 2018 will be replaced and the and the wider range of EdgeMax and FreeSpace should be inspected and secured with safety cables where necessary.
