The Hazard!
CFMOTO has determined that the throttle cable return bracket may become jammed if the throttle limiting screw is improperly adjusted - if the throttle limiting adjustment screw is improperly adjusted it may cause the throttle to become stuck open and cause the vehicle to accelerate without throttle input.
If the throttle becomes jammed it may cause the rider to lose control or be unable to stop the vehicle, which may lead to serious injury or death.
What to do...
Customers should contact their nearest CFMOTO dealership and make an appointment to have the affected parts replaced - this will be carried out at no cost to the customer.
