FRANKE Waste Disposer (FWD75R) with serial numbers beginning with:
1M5 or 1M6 or potentially any two letters followed by “6” in the third position
The serial number of is on the bottom plate of the waste disposal unit.
An issue in the grinding of blades can potentially cause one of the blades to eject through the opening of your disposal unit.
If a blade ejects it may pose a laceration hazard.
What to do...
Stop using your Waste Disposer and contact the PRK&WS Service department if your unit has an affected serial number.
