Model No. GBH400 (marked on the rating label). Affected heaters also have G328 marked on the rating label. If the label has RW0810 marked on it, it's not included in this recall. This recall does not effect any other Goldair Bathroom Heaters.Supplier Contact

The original importer of these heaters is no longer trading.
However, as a goodwill gesture, the current NZ importer and distributor of Goldair is offering free replacement heaters to consumers with affected heaters.
The removal and installation of the heaters is at the consumers cost.
The Hazard!
A specific batch of GBH400 Bathroom Heaters have the potential to cause a fire.
(Note: other Goldair heaters are not included in the recall)
What to do...
Stop using your heater. Check the rating label on the left hand side of the heater to see if it is affected, see product identifiers below.
If your heater is affected, Goldair will send you a free replacement. To take up the offer - you need to ring Goldair to register. Goldair will send you a recall pack including a freepost courierbag.
Use a licenced electrical worker to remove the unit. Then cut off the power cord and return it along with the rating label sticker (shown) to Goldair using the courier bag provided. The heater should then be destroyed. It must not be reused or resold.
When received by Goldair, a new model Goldair bathroom heater will be sent back to you.
