The Hazard!
Affected outboard motors may experience fuel loss from the air vent tube in the vapour separator.
If fuel loss and leakage occurs, it will enter the water and may pose a possible fire hazard (if there is a source of ignition).
What to do...
Check the product identification number on your outboard and if it is in the affected range, contact your nearest Honda Marine dealer to arrange for a replacement vapour separator to be fitted.
