The Hazard!
The pram bumper bar may be missing a plastic cap in the hinge, exposing a small hole when the bumper is hinged back.
If the cap is missing and the bumper bar hinged back, a child may put their fingers in the exposed hole, posing an entrapment and injury hazard.
What to do...
Check both hinges on the bumper bar for a missing cap. If a cap is missing, contact Tobil & Co. for a replacement bumper bar.
Update: 17 March 2020, Tobil & Co/MumMum have now contacted all consumers and confirmed that all units in NZ were unaffected by the issue.
