John Deere model year 2016 & 2017 XUV590i and XUV590i S4 Gator Utility Vehicles. Multi-purpose off-highway utility vehicle that are either green and yellow, olive drab, or camouflage colored with “John Deere” on the side of the box and the model number on the side of the engine hood.
The Hazard!
The utility vehicles may have a sticky throttle cable, as a result they may not slow down or behave as expected, leading to a potential crash hazard.
What to do...
Stop using the machine until it is repaired - Deere have contacted all affected owners in New Zealand and are in the process of repairing the affected units.
