The Hazard!
The batteries may overheat and catch on fire.
If the batteries overheat, there is an increased risk of fire which may result in an injury or death and/or property damage.
What to do...
LGES is installing a new diagnostic software roll-out to all units.
The software is designed to detect abnormal behaviour in cells and trigger a "switch off" if a potentilaly affected unit is identified. This unit will then be replaced.
Accept and install the software update or contact your installer if your need support to do so.
If a "switch-off" occurs contact your installer/supplier or LGESAU to arrange for the unit to be replaced.
