The affected Dots and Spots Puppy Deluxe Swing model (SKU GVF83) were sold via catch.co.nz between January 2021 and September 2021.
The plug-in adaptor which was supplied with the swing is being recalled.
Other Mattel/Fisher-Price products are not affected by this recall.
The Hazard!
The swing was supplied with an overseas plug-in adaptor which is not designed for use in New Zealand.
If used with an incompatible power source there is an increased risk of electric shock, which can cause serious injury or death.
What to do...
Stop using the overseas plug-in adaptor immediately. Affected consumers will be contacted directly.
Mattel will arrange for the return of the non-compliant overseas plug-in adaptor at Mattel’s cost. Mattel will provide consumers with a New Zealand approved plug-in adaptor to replace the overseas plug-in adaptor.
