Mongoose M80II Vehicle Security System in upgrade mode.
The fault may occur if you are using the original vehicle key/remote to control the Mongoose system and also have the immobiliser connected.
The Hazard!
There is a potential risk of the alarm arming when the ignition is on, which can lead to the engine stopping whilst being driven.
If the engine stops while driving it could cause an accident, and vehicle damage / injury to the driver or other road users.
What to do...
Before using your vehicle, contact Mongoose to check if your system needs to be inspected and repaired.
The fault may occur if you are using the original vehicle key/remote to control the Mongoose system and have the immobiliser installed.
The repair will take 30 minutes to complete involves replacing the PCB.
