Potentially affected vehicles sold at Polaris dealers from October 2015 to February 2019 Polaris model year 2015-2019 Ranger EV Off road side by side utility vehicles.
The Hazard!
Some 2015-2019 Ranger EV models were manufactured with incorrect electrical wiring to the accelerator pedal position sensor that can result in an incorrect sensor voltage to the vehicle control module which may cause unintended vehicle acceleration.
Unintended vehicle acceleration may lead to a loss of control which could result in an accident.
What to do...
Stop operating the vehicle immediately and contact your Polaris dealer to schedule an appointment to have inspection and repair completed where necessary.
Polaris has also contacted all identified owners.
Note: the recall was commenced in February 2019 and you may have heard from Polaris at that time.
