The Hazard!
Polaris has determined that on some Model Year 2023-2024 RANGER XP Kinetic vehicles, the high voltage cables on the Motor Controller Unit (MCU) can become loose.
A loose high voltage cable may arc or overheat during vehicle operation resulting in a fire and/or unintended acceleration posing a crash hazard and risk of serious injury.
What to do...
Stop riding affected vehicles immediately. Polaris is currently evaluating a repair procedure for this concern and will provide an update to customers in the coming weeks.
