The Hazard!
The cooler latch can automatically lock when the lid closes.
This could allow a person to become locked inside the cooler and poses entrapment and suffocation hazards.
What to do...
BRP intends to repair the cooler.
Contact your Sea-Doo dealer and make an appointment. Replacement latches will be available from 22 July 2019. In the meantime, consumers should immediately put the coolers out of the reach of children.
