Issue will particularly affect Sidemount or Rebreather Divers using the black and yellow transmitter shearwater transmitters together.
The transmitters can fail to signal the tank pressure due to interference while using two transmitters(black and yellow transmitter) in the same dive.
If the transmitter fails to signal the tank pressure, it may lead to and pose a potential drowning hazard to divers.
What to do...
Stop using the recalled transmitters and contact the firm to arrange a free repair or exchange of the transmitter.
