Swann Wireless Door Chimes affected by the recall should meet the following criteria: - Match the picture above. - Have been purchased between January 2015 and February 2017. - Have the first 5 digits in the serial number between 08548 and 09075 - Wireless Door Chime with One or Two Receivers - Have the model numbers SWHOM-DC820P2 or SWHOM-DC820P only Sold at: - Mitre 10 - Mitre 10 Mega - Placemakers - Hammer Hardware
The Hazard!
When forced, the back cover on the receiver may detach from the front cover allowing access to live parts and a potential electric shock hazard.
What to do...
Stop using the door chime immediately and remove from the power socket.
Check the serial number on the receiver. If within the range specified, please contact CDB on 0800 232633 for instructions on how to receive a replacement unit.
