The Hazard!
On some containers, the bottle cap and neck thread are not correctly aligned and it is possible that the coolant may leak.
If the Tectaloy coolant leaks from the container and access is gained to it; it can cause skin or eye irritation or damage and is harmful if ingested.
What to do...
Stop using the identified Tectaloy coolant products.
ITW intends to collect affected products directly from consumers. Consumers will receive a full refund or store credit for the affected product when it is collected.
Consumers should call ITWNZ on 09 272 1945 to arrange for collection.
