Thetford 3-Way Absorption fridge fitted into caravans and motorhomes. Manufactured from September 2017 to February 2018 (if you purchased your fridge before August 2017, it is not affected by this recall). Model and Serial Number appear on the product label in the interior cabinet on teh right hand side wall. 1. Is your fridge a model N304M or N504M? Is so, go to step 2 2. Is the Serial number within the affected range of serial numbers: - 27381864 to 28220540? If yes, go to step 3 3. Contact Thetford to arrange a service agent to check your fridge If no to Step 1 or Step 2, your fridge is not affected by the recall.
The Hazard!
The gas control valve pressure test point nut on the fridge may not be correctly tightened.
If it is not correctly tightened, it could lead to a gas leak and possible fire.
What to do...
Check if your fridge is affected and, if so, contact a service agent to organise a repair.
