The Hazard!
Live parts can potentially touch the foot pedal if wires inside:
- corrode as a result of moisture.
- become detached from the potentiometer.
- twist and break if the nut at the back of the pedal becomes loose.
If live parts touch the foot pedal, using it could result in electric shock.
What to do...
Stop using the product and contact CCG, the NZ distributor, to arrange inspection and repair with an electrician.
